Energy Healing And The Importance of Knowing Thyself

Self-healing starts with the mind, which can produce energy to bring about the task of healing. Energy healing is self-healing.

Everything gives out invisible energy and, based on the laws physics, there is energy in everything. This everything includes the human body, the moon, and the sun. Everything, which can be either negative or positive, is actually some form of energy. Your thinking, for instance, also involves energy, out of which the mind would be unable to function. Your mind produces positive energy in your body for self-healing, that is, if you “think” you can heal yourself.

Chinese medicine in Jacksonville postulates that the human body is made up of energy, and, therefore, will react negatively or positively to other energies around and within it in the living world. In short, everything around you and within you is all connected together through energy.

Energy healing originated in China over 5,000 years ago. Some soldiers who were inflicted with minor wounds on some parts of their bodies later on found out that their ailments and physical pains had disappeared all of a sudden. That eventually led to the disclosure of energy healing. The Chinese medicine doctors of yore started to think that within the human body, there was an energy system that communicated energetically between different organs and cells and. For hundreds of years, the Chinese have known that the internal vital energy called chi (“qi”) plays a major role in sending energy data within the body. The stagnation or free flow of chi accounts for sickness or health.

Our life is an adventure by which we make a lot of choices – some bad ones and also some good ones — that develop into illnesses or health which are part and parcel of your experiences in this life. We all have a purpose in life and a unique destiny for each person. And so, it is essential that we need to know ourselves, and healing oneself is “knowing the self” is part of our destiny. Somewhere and sometimes along the journey of life, we hit rock bottom and some of us start to despair. We may even ask the question many of us have probably uttered when things get really bad: “Why me?” However, this may be a moment of self-awakening for some of us. We may start to question, how did we find ourselves in this despondent and difficult situation? Real self-awakening can make us take a different path — a diversion from that original journey we have been nudging along. When we take a different path, this generates the energy for healing.

Our self-awakening may be physical, such as taking up an exercise regimen or modifying our diet. Our self-awakening can be spiritual or emotional, such as waking up to the power of love. Via the self-healing power of meditation, for instance, we may realize a new consciousness of reality, a new realization of what our priorities in life are and who we really are. Waking up to ourselves may give us the intention to heal, leading to changes that ultimately will heal not just our body but also our mind. The very intention to heal is the energy we need to heal for the mind and body.

Knowing yourself, will empower you with knowledge to self heal, and that empowerment creates healing energy. When it comes to health, you’ll make more right choices than wrong ones, that is, if you know yourself well. When you make those choices, you’re already generating energy healing that will lead to self-healing.

Many of us unfortunately, pass on the responsibility of healing on our doctors. We quickly surrender our own accountability to know ourselves that can lead to self-healing. Because of this, we remain unhealed and sick. Felix Marti-Ibanez, M.D., perfectly described this responsibility when he wrote: “By knowing that a person is truly healed can he be cured…to be a physician then, not only means to patch up shattered minds or torn flesh or dispensing pills, the physician can only heal when the patient knows his health better than his doctor. Only you can generate that healing energy.

Self-healing starts with knowing ourselves via self-awakening. Knowing ourselves will empower us with knowledge for self-healing. Energy healing is generated by the very process of empowerment.
